Reggae musical talent just for Mothers! Ras Negus started the show with a befitting tribute to mothers. Lady Lex then took up the action with the sweetest love songs. Donna Marie whipped the crowd into a frenzy with an energy packed performance and it was sheer magic when she teamed up with Peter Spence to serenade all mothers. Lloyd Brown's performed his latest hits and the crowd turned into a karaoke choir. Cornell Campbell and his velvet voice took us all back to yester year. Finally George Nooks sent the crowd wild as Mothers took to their feet when he sang God Is Standing By. Dadie Ernie kept the procedures flowing and Ping Wing and the Rhythm Works band performed splendidly. A tribute to all Mothers!!

The Ravers Committee have outdone themselves again. The events they brought to you in 2007 were good and 2008 promises to be even better following the Valentine Day special featuring the original crooner himself John McLean singing his hits such as "If I Gave My Heart To You", "Say You" & "Truly Bowled Over" John had the crowd, who were resplendent in red & white, singing at the tops of their voices. What a night!!! Thanks Ravers Committe the 3rd Saturday of every month is pure quality!!!

The School Teacher aka Roberto Allen and also James bond to his closest friends celebrated his birthday in fine style. Wall to wall djays and people it was a night full of musical diversity, no holds barred raving and just utter niceness.!!!

What a way to launch your new album and also celebrate 25 years in the business!! Lloyd Brown and guests from the celebrity world joined him to do just this at the Blue Ice clue in Streatham. Congrats Lloyd and may God grant you the voice and the strength to continue. DDN

After what may be recorded as one of the worst years of the century it was great to see out 2007 with the BEST party of the year at the Crowne Plaza hotel at Royal Excel Docks. It was a truly glitzy, glamorous affair with Champagne reception & 4 course meal, comedians, poetry and of course the compulsory dancing to J NYCE, CAPRICORN, JB CREW, BUPPY C, DESI G & BARRY WHITE. Another fine production from Me, Myself & I, Buppy C and Charlie B. Happy New Year everyone!!!

"Love The Way It Should Be" has gone from strength to strength. 3rd Sat of every month the Reggae Lounge "ketch a fya". Sat 15Dec was no exception and witht he Black & White affair with the most stunning piano cake youc ould behold the night was full of festive cheer and nuff love. Happy Birthday to Joanne from Ravers Committee who made this possible and not forgetting Senator B and all the djays who make this event a pleasure month after month. Looking forward to 2008.!! DDN

The raving for Saturday night was definitely at the Reggae Love Lounge. The theme was "Wear Something White". The guest list included Champagne from X Factor and the Barber of the Year. So great to see local talent paraded and feted in the Love Lounge. Music supplied by@ PC Mistri, The System, JB Crew and of course Senator B. The music was wide ranging and far reaching. Thanks once again to the Ravers Committee for an event that was really enjoyable and also for rewarding those die hard members with free passes for a year. Well what can I say except for those of you who did not get in...come earlier next time. The queue wound down Acre Lane in Brixton when party goers turned out en masse for the home coming party for the JB Crew. Charlie B was celebrating a BIG birthday and family from overseas where there to help him celebrate in style. Happy Birthday Boogie & Charlie! A wicked party!!
